IMPORTANT DISCLAMER

Good day to you all, this is Guy, the War Master writing to you. Yes you, and you too. And…ok maybe you, but please, next times take a bath ;)

Ok, joke time over, I would like to address a comment that has been brought to our attention: the quality of our written English. As you might have noticed if you’ve taken the time to read our bio, we are both French speaking and writing authors. And moreover, I’m dyslexic. People criticized our work which is amazing since it means that they took the time to read us. Yay for us :) . But some of you out there criticize our writing skills and grammar. Well, we took the comment to heart and worked on getting things better for the last two month.

How did it go? Not so well. Even though we are considered pretty good at English, it is not our native tongue. So we tried to find help but it is hard to have people correcting us for free. We had some amazing help but it is still not enough.

So, for the first four month, we worked daily to write this story we had in mind, had lengthy discussion about the world, the plot and where it would lead, how should Alexander and Viona evolve and so forth and so on. Then, for the last two month we forgo writing in favor of trying to better our style, spelling and grammar. And you know what? It did not show.
We forgot the main purpose of this project: to write an amazing story to the best of our capacity. We have lost part of the passion and the flame that was driving us to stay late even though we have work early the next morning and the fact that we are a continent away one from the other. Now, we are arguing, actually arguing as to should there be a coma here or not.

So, being a action driven guy, I decided that it was time to go back to the main focus of this amazing project that had us dreaming and daydreaming: writing a story worthy of our readers who will hopefully understand our limitation.

And if it is an issue to you out there, start donating and we will use this money to hire a professional proof reader.

Now, it is past time to go back to some creative writing, amazing plot story, character development and more surprise for you guys.

Keep on reading,

Guy Matte, War Master of Artenia
